About Chelsea Spot

The Chelsea Spot Hostel is designed for the active traveler whose focus is experiencing New York’s downtown lifestyle. This hostel is within walking distance from all of New York’s major attractions like Madison Square Garden, Empire State Building, Times Square and the 34th Street Herald Square Shopping Center, as well as the Greenwich Village and many others. Chelsea Spot Hostel is in walking distance from Penn Station on 32nd Street, all of New York City’s major trains A, B, C, D, E, 1, 2 and 3 and other public transportation. A quick ride will take you anywhere in New York City. The public transportation system runs 24 hours a day seven days a week. What makes this location special is its proximity to a great variety of restaurants, sports bars, local pubs, and shops.

Apart from their prime location, Chelsea Spot offers many other amenities to its guests. They provide a full kitchen, guest lounge with a large High Definition LCD TV, air conditioned rooms, although our rooms and bathrooms may be smaller than the average hostel room, our customer service makes up for it. We are sure to have the friendliest multi-lingual staff in New York. Moreover, the building is equipped with a laundry room, 24-hour reception desk, backyard, lockers and Internet kiosks machines, along with WIFI (wireless internet).

Linen are included during your stay, however, towels are not. There are various dorm sizes (2-8 bed dorms) but no private rooms at our Chelsea Spot.

Oh, and there is free coffee and tea all day as well as free pizza once a week! :)
