the biggest city in the world nick-named after a fruit
My first guest of the day saw me counting my change. Times are tough! But the good times are still able. I laugh more with empty pockets. To tell you the truth, these tough times are always the same for me, making enough to eat but not to save.
I was once told by my 11th favorite guest from Oman (its next to Saudi Arabia) that
if you save money too long it's gonna turn bad one day.
I put the coins back into my roomy pocket, and changed the tone somewhat by telling this early morning guest that the uptown V train had all the bankers inside it's moving walls. And if he wanted to see some nice people who wouldn't cut in front of him getting into the train, and holding huge Starbucks cups filled with ridiculousness, to take the L train.
If I was having a hard time like these bankers, I'd take my coffee black. Nobody feels sorry for an asshole with whip-cream in their coffee. It smells like a birthday party on the V train.
"I made a reservation on-line!" was how this guest stopped my rambling. "Welcome to chelsea spot Hostel. Sorry but I can't check you in until 2pm, but we have fresh coffee downstairs and tea if you're gay."
